pretty things

Nordstrom BP. 'Alita' Pump
I've been looking for a pair of classic black stiletto pumps with an appropriate heel height.
Since these are 25% off, they just might be the ones....

shewz

i went to target to get some light bulbs. i ended up getting these instead:

everyone needs a pair of nudey shoes. i mainly bought these because they're perfect for work. professional AND stylish, but not trendy. they will pair very nicely with gray slacks.

organizized

i live out of my car and reused forever 21 bags.
peek into my car, and you'll find an uneaten fruit and cheese plate, empty starbucks cups and 75% of my closet.

this has become the way i live not because i am homeless, but because i feel like i have two homes that aren't quite my home. i have one home in which i pay $550+/month for that houses my two lovely and dear roommates. i have another home in which i actually stay at (free of charge, but hardly cost-free......) with my boyfriend and his roommates... and it hardly feels like i have my own space. a corner where i stuff my duffle and forever 21 bags does not count. but anyway, traveling between the two places makes for a messy, messy car.

with all of the crap i've accumulated, i need to seriously organize all of my belongings. i have fairly nice belongings and they need to be handled nicely. and the sense of creating my own space is something i've been craving lately.

i decided to start simple so i set out to target to buy some storage space for...of course...my makeup.

i have a lot of it, but i've lost most of it lugging my damn make up bags around back and forth from a to b to c back to a and then to d....so its easy to leave a piece or two behind, or have it fall out in my car... its hard to keep track of all that crap. yeah... its quite sad because my make up collection would be more impressive.

i bought some clear vanity trays for fairly cheap and i thought i would share! :)

Make up I only use sparingly:

Everyday makeup:
Very simple.

Cute things/I have no shame
(This bathroom is shared with 3 other guys)
hehe

Necessities:

I recently switched body lotions to Nivea. The Eucerin Plus Intensive Smoothing smells too awful. I endured the stench for a couple months, but could go on no longer. Loving the Nivea.

Anyway, that is it for now. The creation of space and organization continues and I'll keep you updated.

love / hate

things i hate:

>halo. i will admit its nice to have him occupied with something so i get a chance to do these blogs without being scrutinized.

>bouts of bladder infections in less than a month. maybe TMI and a little disgusting. i'm not dirty i swear. i carefully wipe front to back. (the culprit might be excessive caffiene and poor nutrition ???...which explains my higher daily intake of fruits, which you'll read about later...) I wince everytime I pee because it hurts and burns and feels like I have to pee even more AFTER I pee, yet nothing comes out.

>not being able to have sex because of said bladder infection.

>being cold.

>ex girlfriends who text your boyfriend at 12:30 on friday nights (yes, 2 CONSECUTIVE FRIDAY NIGHTS) asking him what he's doing. HE'S WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND YOU DUMB DUMB WHORE.

things i love:

~the thrill of driving in the carpool lane when i'm the only one in the car. in broad day light. during traffic. when people can easily see no one is in my car and judge me. EFF.YOU. Washington State Department of Transportation!

~fruit. can't get enough of it. i had 3 HUGE asian pairs just now. in one sitting. i love slicing green apples into cubes and slicing banana's and then forking them together. the banana offsets the tartness of the apple and the apple makes the banana less bland. perfect. i've also discovered that i prefer my banana's unripened.

~lazy sunday mornings. and not the "recovering from a saturday night" lazy sunday morning, but the refreshed, waking up at 7am laying around doing nothing until about 3 PM, sunday morning. :) its nice because you've gotten 8 hours of laziness in, but you still have time to be productive before u have to go to bed... like this post....at 11:33PM!

(i really didn't lay around doing nothing for 8 hours... i cooked breakfast around 12...haha)

my friday night

I know, I'm super awesome.

I was at walgreens again and saw that they had other varieties of thefaceshop masks in stock. I had to try them, especially the pearl one (which is what I'm photographed wearing..)

For greater skin hydration and elasticity

For clearer skin

Helps protect skin cells from sun damage, makes skin look youthful

For comforted and revitalized skin

So right now, it is actually Monday and I put off publishing the post because it got late and I was too tired to write anything. I am killing time before a doctors appointment and a long journey back to portland.
My thoughts on these masks:
I did the aloe one yesterday (sunday) with my friend, who did the Vita E mask. This would be my third mask (out of the 8 that I've bought). I've given most of them away to friends to try. But the ones that I have tried have basically made my skin feel smoother and exfoliated (without actually being exfoliated..). As for the actual functions of each mask, I'm not sure they do what they claim to do. Considering you're suppose to use the same mask 2-3 times a week to get the results they claim, I can't really say if they genuinely work. What I can say is, they haven't broken me out, no adverse affects, and they make me feel pretty. haha.

My friend who tried the Vita E mask said she felt a little stinging/burning sensation. But she has sensitive skin. So if you do, use these with caution. :) But I think they're generally harmless.

Just wanted to leave you with an artist I'm totally digging right now:

Grammy winner for best new artist: ADELE
I left in such a hurry, I forgot to burn her cd for the drive to portland. I'm pissed.
Download her LIVE cd. Her voice and music is so refreshing and soulful.

She beat the Jonas Bro's in this category.
Thank. God.
I have so much more to say about this, but I must shower.

its tar-get... NOT tar-jhay,,, UGH

I've been trying to find the perfect digital camera for a long time now. While perusing the awesomeness that is Target, I found a sony digicam for 89!!! And then I found an even BETTER sony digicam for 99 (it was pink)!!! I had been thinking about it for a couple days. Finally went back today and thought... today is the day I buy myself a camera that is not a piece of crap. But of course, I had to think about it some more. So I walked through the store to think and went on a picture frenzy with the camera on my phone.

Some things I found that made me love Target even more:

Yeah... I did that...

Why do they always show cute stuff like that, but not have it in store?!!

I want this pie dish!!!

Can I be a little kiddd?!!!!!

So after going around taking all these random pictures and killing my phone battery, I decided that I was just going to buy it. I had so much fun taking all these pictures with my phone, imagine just how much more fun it would be to use a real camera. haha.

Too bad they were out of stock. of both cameras. Sadness all over my face.

I finally got my hands on some BB CREAM

Rojukiss Spot Light Blemish Balm Cream
I linked it to a really great, detailed overview of the product above.

My friend went to taiwan and picked this up for me. It retails for about $40. I never really see people using this brand of BB Cream. I mostly see L'egere, BRTC, Missha, etc. etc... I was hesitant about using this because of that fact. I read it was hard to blend/spread, and the color was gray-ish.

After trying it, it is pretty thick, but blendability was fine. I just have to moisturize alot, and I do that anyway. I like the thickness because I think the staying power is better with that kind of consistency.

The grayness was not apparent to me. It is pretty light on me (I am an NC 30-35, MUFE HD 125) but I find that it dissappears after application and just gives me a nice glow. But I'm positive I will not be able to use this in a few months when I get TiZzAnnnnn.

I use it as a make up base, under my MUFE HD foundation. The problem I had with the HD was that it made my skin really flakey. To my surprise, this bb cream has helped with my HD foundation application tremendously!

bb cream, hd foundation 125, hd powder, nars laguna bronzer, nars orgasm blush

Overall: love love love...

Person I like: Audrey Tautou in Priceless

I have yet to see this movie, but from the looks of these stills, it is filled with french fashion awesomeness!!! She is absolutely gorgeous. The costumes in this film are (in my opinion) definitive of style: effortless, simple, and classic.
